Chief Minister,
Based on my application submitted to you during Jana Samparkka Paripadi held at Kannur in December 2013, you had approved Rs.50 lakhs for Checkicheri-Napa-Cherupara Panchayat Road.
There was no road tarring for months and therefore, I had approached you many times through your online complaint cell but till date, the result is NIL. What is even more shocking is the fact that those complaints’ status still shows WAITING.
Find attached a picture taken a couple of days ago showing the pathetic condition of that road. Due to road’s poor condition, Auto Driver refused to drive through that road and therefore, I had to carry all my luggage on my own during heavy rain and this is what all those who are staying there now and died already have been doing since independence.
I asked about it to some of my neighbors and from their reply and the inaction from your side, I have every reason to believe that that allotted amount has either been diverted or looted and both are unacceptable. It is not a clerical mistake or minor error or just lapse or mere lackadaisical attitude from your side and the authorities concerned but a severe crime and therefore, punishable.
In Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal-led-Government fulfilled almost all promises, they had made during election, within one year but you find it not necessary to complete a project work, which was in fact due for more than 50 years, that you had approved years ago at least before the next Jana Samparkka Paripadi. It must be remembered that as Delhi is not a complete state like Kerala and therefore, has to face and tackle the unnecessary interference by Central Government every now and then but still they are doing what they had promised, which shows that it is possible if there is will and honesty, but you and your team who enjoy absolute power are after pleasing Manies and Saritas and as a result, people are denied even their basic welfare and facilities.
You may perhaps argue that you were not aware of all these but that is your actual crime Mr.Chief Minister. It is not allocating fund but ensuring that the allocated funds are utilized properly is what is your prime responsibility as an MLA or Chief Minister, certainly not doing clerical job by conducting Jana Samparkka Paripadi. If it is you who should do all these, why do we need authorities like district, Taluk, Panchayat and Ward divisions? If you had shouldered that responsibility that is ensuring proper utilization of allocated funds, there was no need to conduct such Jana Samparkka Paripadi wasting many crores from the exchequer.
Can you tell me the reason why you should not at least be put behind bars Mr.Chief Minister?
Sebastian Thomas
